Few days ago, I got a chance to have a short vavavavacation to Solo and Jogjakarta, 2 of old kingdoms in Indonesia.

Here's sum pic of the place I stayed. I entered the home stay via Cakra II street.. (scary?)

in front of this super fancy boutique selling batik Indonesia, Batik Keris...

And this how the pool in the home stay looks (plus a blondie there ;))

It's sooooooooo exotic. Yeah, I'm in Indonesia, one of the most-I-can-say exotic country in the world, and this place, represents us veeeerrryyy well... Blue, green, gray, yellow, brown... Aaaaahhhhhh.....

In the nite, there was a live performance of traditional music called Klenengan. Peaceful and the lyrics are full of philosophy.

What d'ya think, fellas?

Me, sitting in front of them, playing one of the most iconic Javanese song (which I don't understand the meaning of the lyrics, the used veeeeryyy old language)

And here are some of the stuff around the home stay....

Something I don't know the function, but it looks good, classic, and vintage, yet vulnerable...

and super duper stunning mirror in front of my room...

Can I bring that home as souvenir? Please.... blink blink blink....

and what's life without yoga? Hmmmm.... doing yoga sequence in a terrace next to the pool will make a perfection perfect...

This is the look of the terrace...

the background of the terrace. it describes the wedding scene in Javanese culture. the bride and groom sitting in front of the beautiful and divine Javanese sculpture with traditional cuisine served on the gold dishes...

The musical instruments next to them...

it needs a whole lifetime to be expert in this kind of music T_T

And this holiday is not perfect without my partner-in-crime, Fr. Un...

and one more thing, the symbol of exoticism, coconut tree...

Hmmmm....

signorefandi, paradise on earth....
