This golden coat from Alexis Mabille Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2014 is such a stand-out in the middle of over flooding white paper butterflies and bright floor-length dresses and gowns with white and pastel colours. The shape of the arm remind me of table skirt by Hussein Chalayan in the 70s, that the arm is some sort of extension of layers and layers. What I tought as arendition of leg o'mutton (or known as gigot) sleeves, it actually wasn't. It is a new invention, a fabrical translation of slinky, a tool to demonstrate the longitudinal and transversal waves.

A coat with densely packed gathers that shows the broad fabric gathered together, creating a wavvy look resembling opened curtains. The A shape, with long tail and shorter in the front part, helps revealing the see-through skinny trousers with golden embroidery with tiny zipper at the ankle.

The shoes? Brown platform with white flowers embellishments. Perfect.
