Ah. Another star from Beirut. After Elie Saab, I believe this Lebanese designer will be as big as his fellow couturier (and his teacher), to which his collection is rooting.
His collection is a juxtaposition of broad colours; from black to soft pink, mint blue, magenta, ocean blue. The wrap dresses, floor-length dresses, half-calf-lenght ocean blue dress with white applique, cocktail dresses with peplum, and a gorgeous black-and-pink combination in various length and style, makes this collection is so rich in cut and silhouette. His academical background in architecture certainly plays a major role in the construction and proportion development. The one-shoulder dress is carrying a romanticism with such elegance and strength. The goddess dress is a red-carpet ready, and of course, the black lace gown is sitting on top of the collection.
With the block cage as the setting, it looks as if we were brought to another dimension to reach the dresses, which is contradictory to the nature of the dresses with such ease and lightness.
